I just returned from a good New Year's getaway at Weingut Erich Serwazi, a charming family-run guest house nestled among the stunning vineyards of Mesenich. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a lovely welcome drink that set the perfect tone for our stay. Our double room boasted a balcony with amazing mountain views-ideal for those sunrise photography sessions I adore! Breakfast was a highlight, featuring hearty local fare served in a cozy traditional breakfast room, fueling us for our days filled with cycling and hiking in the picturesque surroundings. The peaceful garden and barbecue area were a wonderful retreat for relaxing after our adventures. If you're after a perfect base to explore the beauty and charm of this region, I can't recommend this place enough! It felt like a home away from home for both me and my travel companions.
